If you'd like to stop using Blood Hub and have your account and personal data permanently deleted, you can request this at any time using the steps below. This applies to all Blood Hub accounts, regardless of how you signed up.
How to Request Deletion
Blood Hub doesn't yet have an in-app "Delete Account" button, so deletion requests are handled directly by our team to make sure your data is fully and correctly removed.

Send an email to abutahersiddikiadnan@gmail.com from the same email address you used to register on Blood Hub.

Use the subject line "Blood Hub Account Deletion Request" and include the phone number on your account, so we can verify it's really you.

We will confirm your identity and process the deletion request within 7 business days, and reply to confirm once it's complete.
What Gets Deleted

Retention After Deletion
Once processed, your personal data is removed from our active database within 7 business days. A minimal record may be retained for up to 30 days in encrypted backups purely for disaster-recovery purposes, after which it is permanently purged. We do not retain any data longer than necessary, and do not use deleted data for any purpose during this window.
If you only want to stop appearing in donor search or receiving notifications — without deleting your account entirely — you can instead open the app, go to your Profile, and toggle your status to "Resting." This keeps your account and donation history intact while hiding you from active matching.
